Aloha and mahalo for checking out our newly renovated studio space. We are a busy family of 4 with an additional studio space on the north side of our home. We live right next to the hospital in the heart of Kealakekua. This studio shares a wall with our main dwelling space but has a separate entrance. This is a small, yet well-thought-out, "cozy" space, ideal for 1 person who is open to the idea of a a detached private bathroom...

A Great Place to Stay
I stayed with Morgan and Steve for almost a year and really enjoyed it. This studio's location in town is very convenient being close to Kona Community Hospital, the local grocery store, thrift shops, the post office, bus line and a local coffee roaster, Captain Cook Trading Company. Beyond that, Morgan and Steve are very likeable and attentive as landlords. I felt comfortable asking them for help when I needed it and they were happy to help. From the window in the room you have a nice view of the ocean and can catch beautiful sunsets from there. There are beautiful beaches and trails nearby as well. The space itself is small, probably suited for shorter people, but has all the essentials you need. There is a private detached bathroom in the garage but that is easy to get used to as well. Hawaii can be very expensive and this place is a great value.
