Liz at Sloans Lake

I really enjoyed my stay with Liz. Her home is in such a great spot. The lake is right there which is convenient. In addition, there are many restaurants nearby that you can walk to. I appreciated having the basement to myself where i could spend time alone. Liz and I spent a good amount of time together hanging out and eating together. I had full access to her kitchen but cooked most of my meals on her grill on her patio. It was so nice. Her dog Matilda is super sweet.

I stayed in Liz's basement unit for 5 months and had a great experience. She was warm, welcoming, and very accommodating-not just to me, but also to my dog, which meant a lot. The backyard was perfect for him, and the doggy door made things super convenient. Liz was also thoughtful enough to add a sink to the unit during my stay, which made day-to-day living even more comfortable. Overall, a very dog-friendly, quiet, and easygoing place to stay. Plus you can't beat the location being a short walking distance to Sloans Lake and near great restaurants in Edgewater and Tennyson. Highly recommend!!

Great Space!

I recently spent a month in this space and really enjoyed my stay. Liz is a kind and gracious host. She lives upstairs and was willing to help with anything I needed. Her little dog, Matilda, is a sweetheart who is obsessed with playing ball. The apartment was very clean, updated, and in good working order. The beds were comfortable and I had everything I needed. The space worked perfectly for my needs but there isnt an actual kitchen. Liz has provided a mini fridge, microwave, etc but there isnt a sink. I just used one of the bathroom sinks to wash dishes, but didnt eat many meals there. It might prove harder for someone who plans to cook frequently. There is not a separate door to the space downstairs although I think Liz is working on a solution for that. I found Liz to be respectful of my privacy during the month I stayed, so it wasnt an issue for me. I plan to book this space next time I am in the area.
