Lovely household!

This rental was perfect for the 4.5 months I spent working in Novato. It's a large bedroom suite with a desk/office space, couch/lounging space, and private bathroom. There's minimal crossover with other renters (2), who were lovely to live with anyway, as is the landlord/homeowner. The shared kitchen is well-equipped & I cooked there often. The location is a reasonably short driving distance from grocery stores, coffee shops, etc., with not much within (my personal definition of) walking distance. The upside of that: it's a very safe, quiet location. It's an environmentally conscious household, so non-natural heating & cooling is extra. The landlord/homeowner Ken is fabulous, reasonable, and very accommodating. Highly communicative & responsive, but never intrusive of personal space. Very respectful of privacy. Overall highly recommended rental. If I were to work in Novato again I would do everything I could to arrange the dates such that I could stay here!
