Rental timeframe poorly handled by landlord despite her own written message

Before booking, I asked if I could book 3/25 through 4/30. The landlord replied: “You can book through 4/30! …cost is $2000 with additional 5 nights being $333.” Based on that wording, I planned to leave 5/1 and pay $2,333 total. Near the end of my stay, she informed me 4/30 was not included despite her written wording. I checked out 4/30 but still charged for 5 extra nights. She acknowledged the ambiguity but placed the entire cost on me, which left a very negative impression. The property had positives: cute décor, comfortable beds, and good water pressure. However, on a very busy street, dishes had food residue, the porch was covered in leaves with dilapidated chairs and the ceiling falling apart, the master bedroom floor sinking around a vent, basement area was cluttered, and there were electrical/light issues. The home felt far more worn and poorly maintained than the photos suggested, with no plants. Hope this helps.

Beautiful home

Fantastic host, and the place is so great. High-end appliances, and excellent bedding. I enjoyed walking around the nearby neighborhoods and it was a short drive to everything I could need. Also, great parking, which I really appreciated
