5 Star Experience
I couldn’t possibly list all the things about Susan’s cottage that I loved - it would take all day. I stayed for a month and wished I could have stayed longer. The location is perfect - close to everything and very walkable. The cottage is as charming as it looks in the photos. Very tastefully decorated and super clean. It has an adorable outside space that is very private. Very safe area and plenty of parking available. Susan is the most responsive host I’ve ever had and was a delight to work with. She went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. As a single woman traveling for work, all of these gestures were greatly appreciated. Can’t wait to go back!
Perfect Downtown Cottage - HIGHLY Recommend
This was the perfect place to spend the fall! It's a short walk to King Street and all the excitement of downtown Charleston, but is nestled perfectly in a very quiet side street. The space was great, had very modern amenities and was ideal for my short-term stay! Sue and Jim were the perfect hosts - very friendly, attentive when needed (which was a rarity) and truly provided a top-of-the-line rental experience. Couldn't have asked for anything more - 10/10 recommend!
Charming Cottage in Charleston Historic District
This was an amazing find! We loved our visit to Charleston and especially this charming 1890 cottage. No car is even needed where this gem is located. You can walk to everything you want to in downtown Charleston. The property owner was very responsive to any of our questions or when we asked for Charleston recommendations. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed for our month stay and was so cozy with a great Charleston vibe. We will surely be back to stay at this cottage.
Charming Cottage
This charming historic Charleston cottage is perfect. Is has a wonderful layout with flexible spaces that are cozy and connected but can also be private. It feels so open, bright and clean with the high ceilings, beautiful wood floors and new appliances. It is tastefully decorated, and the bed is big and comfortable. The back patio is an added bonus and provides a great space to be outside. The location is perfect. The Gaillard Center is just across the street, and I walked the dog around their lovely lawn each morning. The neighborhood is perfect for strolling with sidewalks and charming historic houses. We discovered the very yummy Big Gun Burger Shop and Bar nearby. And the waterfront and the Aquarium are only a 10-minute walk. I highly recommend this adorable cottage. Susan was the perfect host, helpful when we needed her but otherwise gave us complete privacy.
Amazing!!!
We truly had a great time staying at Susan's new place. She's turned a historic cottage from the 1800's into a perfect air b&b in one of the best neighborhoods in Charleston. It's a very comfortable home and outfitted with top amenities, luxuries, and upgrades throughout. The place is only two blocks from the aquarium and waterfront parks, then only 2 blocks from the center of King St. Perfect LOCATION! Susan and her husband were very kind and helpful when needed, while also giving complete privacy. An amazing stay in a historical masterpiece!
