Downey Bungalow

I had a wonderful experience staying at this property and couldn’t be more pleased with both the home and the landlord. From the very beginning, communication was clear, prompt, and professional, which made the entire process seamless. The property itself was exactly as described: clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. The landlord was attentive and responsive, always available to answer questions or address any small concerns quickly and kindly. It’s clear they take great pride in their property and genuinely care about their tenants’ experience. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Downey Cottage

Hands down one of the best places to consider if you need a place to stay! Itsgot a full sized fridge, air fryer, in unit washer and dryer, dishwasher and a good amount of closet space! Those are amenities that can be hard to find in most units in FF. The location is great. You are in a safe neighborhood while still being very close to restaurants and midtown/downtown area and you are near UCD hospital. If youre a runner like me. You have the high school, elmhurst park, oak park and the fab 40.s very close to you for scenic runs. What truly set this stay apart, though, was Michelle. Shes been very flexible, responsive and kind during my stay. Her flexibility and willingness to accommodate made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Its honestly fairly quiet overall and not too loud. You might hear some sirens or helicopters every now and then but its not enough to disturb you. Its priced very well and is one of the better deals youll find on FF. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay!

I had such a lovely stay at Downey Bungalow (DB)! M did an exceptional job making my stay such a pleasant positive experience from local recommendations to even delivering Amazon packages right to my door. M was quick to respond to any needs/concerns I had during my stay & even provided me with extra items I requested. M was truly a gracious host! DB provided all the modern day amenities that one would need to feel right at home. Everything was brand new & worked perfectly! I found the Air Fryer, Keurig, & Crock Pot to be my favorite! The armoire was more than sufficient & the under bed storage was a great additional option. The air conditioner/fans were perfect during the hotter days. The privacy fence made me feel extra secure & the patio was so relaxing! The only downside (not an issue consistently) is the neighbor dogs living next to DB were sometimes left outside barking for lengthy periods of time. Despite this, I would absolutely stay here again & highly recommend!
