Beautiful Vermont Home in private setting on 300 acres Cabin

Scott is incredibly kind and responsive. We genuinely appreciated him as our landlord. The house itself was clean, comfortable and private.

A Beautiful, Genuine Northern Vermont Experience

I stayed at Scott's cabin for one month while on a clinical rotation and what an experience! It was so quiet and beautiful - tucked away in the woods. The stars were insanely beautiful at night and we even had a resident owl in the backyard. The home had absolutely everything you could need for a short or long stay, especially for cooking! My fiancé worked remote every day on the Wi-Fi without any issues. The cabin is super close to the Canadian border, so we were able to go to Montreal for a dinner one night and also spent some time in Burlington and on Lake Champlain. St. Albans and Swanton are great towns too! Scott was an incredible host/landlord. He is super helpful explaining how everything works in the house and is readily available if you need help. He went well out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had a well-rounded true experience of this beautiful region of Vermont. I cannot speak highly enough of this stay and would recommend to anyone! 10/10!

Perfect Cozy Cottage

This place shot way above our expectations! We found this place last minute but that did not stop the landlord from making all efforts to accommodate us. With only a few hours notice, and plans for other renters to be coming in less than a week, the landlord was very welcoming towards us to come stay for only a few days to prevent hotel fees. He truly went above and beyond to help us and even attempted to find us rental options for the future. The cottage was very cozy and clean. I also like to draw attention to a comfortable bed, that this place had. While the cottage is secluded, it is just a short little drive to any store or restaurant. If given the option, we would stay again!

Amazing place with Beautiful Views!

This property is amazing! Large back deck with views of the ponds were so peaceful! Scott is amazing and quick to answer any questions we had. Snow plowed very timely and all the way to the front door. He's the best host I've had so far and he is a fabulous cook - he even took us to some sugar houses to see the process of making Maple syrup! Would recommend again and again! If we come back this way again it's the first place I would check for availability! Thanks so much Scott!

Beyond My Expectations

This is a wonderful home-away-from-home! We stayed for several months and would have liked to have stayed longer. The home is spacious, comfortable, and clean, and it has all the amenities you could need. It felt like a real home and not a place where you feel restricted and unwelcome. Coming from a big city, the peace and quiet were unbelievably relaxing and soothing to the soul. Sitting on the spacious back porch, we spent a lot of time listening to the birds and the wind in the trees, enjoying the nature and views surrounding us on this large property. Though it feels remote, the stores, post office, library, gas stations are just a short drive away. The landlord is an amazing host! He's friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and very respectful of our privacy. He always responds promptly in our communication and takes care of whatever we need. I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property!

The place is great. Beautiful setting very serene. The place is nice , plenty of room. Scott is very responsive if you have any problems. Would stay again!

Home Away From Home

We love this Beautiful property. Clean. Comfortable. Spacious. Away from the hustle and bustle. Relax on the porch and listen/watch the wildlife or gaze at the stars as you unwind! Easy drive to town/Interstate access. Lake Carmi State Park close by to fish, kayak, and enjoy the outdoors. J is an amazing person to work with, kind and thoughtful. Reliable to quickly respond to questions and concerns. We would absolutely rent from J again! We highly recommend this property!
