Golden Hill Hidden Gem!
I had a wonderful time staying in Golden Hill neighborhood of San Diego at Holly & Alan's property. I would say it's centrally located to major points- city, airport, beach (Imprerial, Ocean, Mission Hill), downtown, if you are into baseball games then Petco Park is walking distance, balboa park, short drive to little Italy (my favorite), and conveniently located to major hospitals- Sharp, Naval, & UCSD Hillcrest and La Jolla campus -where I worked. I had no issue parking on street, just make sure to follow San Diego Street parking guidelines. It's perfect cozy one bedroom apartment located in great neighborhood. I went for walk/run almost every day in neighborhood during my stay and not once felt unsafe. Golden Hill and nearby neighborhoods like South Park and North Park have plenty of restaurants, cafe, bakeries, bars, brunch places and shops or you can go towards downtown for more options. Holly and Alan took such a wonderful care decorating and organizing their studio that made me feel very homely. They made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. This beautiful one-bedroom apartment is clean, has plenty of lights, windows for ventilation, spacious well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer on premises, nice view of downtown skylines and AWESOME LANDLORDs a girl could ask for while moving to San Diego first time:) I would definitely come back to stay at this hidden gem of Golden Hill and highly recommend it! ooh they have the cutest fur babies Giggy and Parker -they enjoy company as well!
