Wonderful Stay
This apartment had everything that my wife and I needed for a ten week stay in DC. Sarah went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. When we arrived, there were drinks and snacks waiting for us to keep us going while we got ourselves in order. The apartment is clean and practical, and it has a fair amount of light for an English basement unit. It had all the amenities we wanted and everything worked well. Sarah was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs once we were there. We definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic place to stay
I lived here when I first moved to D.C. and was looking for permanent housing and I am so glad I did! The Bloomie is a lovely English basement furnished with everything you need for a short or long-term stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the living area is nicely sized for relaxing/working from home. Quiet neighborhood with a charming farmer's market a block away on Sunday's. Highly recommend visitors to D.C. stay at The Bloomie.

Great spot for any DC stay!
I found this unit last minute after some other housing fell through, and I'm glad I did! Fully stocked english basement unit in Bloomingdale. Lots of space, a desk to work, large TV, comfortable bed, laundry in unit, dog friendly, etc. Separate entrance through the back of the unit is easy for coming and going and provides a small, partially shaded area outside of the unit. Street parking is manageable if you decide not to pay for the off-street spot. The unit is steps away from Big Bear Cafe (amazing coffee and food) and the farmers market (every Sunday), which was my routine every single Sunday! This is a really comfortable space and an even better location. The neighborhood is full of colorful rowhomes, great food, and is extremely walkable. You can close your laptop at 5 and be sitting at Red Hen for happy hour by 5:10. The owner lives on the upper levelshe was very responsive, helpful, and friendly both before and during my stay. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat.
