Perfect location, accommodation and host
I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while in CO Springs! The location was perfect, close to a beautiful park, backed up the to mountains and great hiking (including garden of the gods). The accommodations were perfect for me! Comfortable and beautifully decorated with great pictures of surrounding CO areas! And finally Kathleen was the best! Offered great suggestions on where to go for food, hikes, etc. She was beyond helpful with anything that came up, either with my car, pup or bringing me delicious homemade food on Thanksgiving! I could name so many more ways that she made my stay enjoyable, but I might run out of space! I highly recommend staying with Kathleen and Traveler if you have a stay in the Springs!
Great place. Highly recommended.
Kathleen's apartment was the ideal place for my internship. It was conveniently within walking distance to Keysight, grocerystores and restaurants. I especially enjoyed walking to 3.14 Pi Bar for their delicious pies. The apartment had everything to get me started including cleaning supplies and toiletries. Wi-FI was great formy online games. The king-size bed was really comfy and the neighborhood felt super safe, even for night walks. Plus, I could hike to Garden of the Gods right from her place, which was nice. Kathleen herself was amazing. She went totally out of her way to make sure I was settled in. When I mentioned I liked cooking, she gave me an Insta Pot and another pan. She also gave great recommendations for places to check out when my parents came to visit. I totally recommend her place. Thank you Kathleen!
Wonderful host, beautiful apartment, safe neighborhood
Kathleen is the friendliest & the most accommodating host. My son rented her apt. for the summer while he interned at Keysight nearby. His initial communication with her was entirely remote & she made the process so easy. She was understanding of his schedule when he got busy with college finals & couldn't mail the rental agreement on time. It was his first time in Colorado & she very much made him feel at home. She provided him with an insta pot & an extra pan when she learnt he liked to cook. The apartment is situated in a safe & beautiful neighborhood. My son didn't have a car for the summer, but he was able to manage as Keysight, grocery shops & restaurants were within walking distance. Not to mention the beautiful hiking trails nearby. I visited & stayed with him for a week. The apartment is as beautiful as the photos, if not more. Kathleen suggested many places to explore while I was there. Thank you Kathleen for making us feel welcome & comfortable in your apartment!
Wonderful place, great location!
This really is as beautiful as the photos! Kathleen's apartment is filled with her gorgeous photographs and will inspire your Colorado adventures. All of the furnishings are high quality with many western details. I especially appreciated the garage space in the winter months, the convenience of a washer/dryer and the very comfortable kind-sized bed. The location can't be beat; a safe and established neighborhood, so close to great hiking and with lots of opportunities to see wildlife - it's just a few blocks from where a herd of bighorn sheep can often be found grazing! Kathleen is very friendly and accommodating, and will go out of her way to ensure you feel comfortable in the apartment. She's also a talented photographer / artist with an impressive local gallery! This was such a great experience that while I initially intended to stay for just a few months, I ended up staying just shy of a year. Thank you Kathleen!
