Requesting Security Deposit Led to Accusation of Stealing Water Bottle & Hidden Cameras Revealed

The location was good, but on day one I found the landlords mother and daughter live in the living room, and the mother shared my bathroom none disclosed beforehand. The living room was occupied and unusable as a common area. Noise was constant: thin walls, arguments between 24 a.m., ball games at 11 p.m., and another tenant singing at midnight. Yet they sent passive-aggressive messages over a brief call of mine, showing a double standard. It felt like they thought they were doing me a favor instead of treating me as a paying tenant. Worst was when I requested my deposit I was accused of stealing a 50-cent water bottle their husband had offered me, and told there were camera recordings, which were never disclosed, raising serious privacy concerns. I was respectful during my three-month stay, but being accused of theft left a bad impression. For fairness: mother and daughter were kind, but overall the experience was stressful and disappointing.
