Stayed for Summer
Stayed for the summer at Alisha's place. Was perfect for what I needed. Very cozy and had everything I needed. Back yard was pleasant for BBQs in the evening, and my dog loved the grass. Place was in Garland district so close to so many amenities, pubs, theatre, shops, grocery, and so much more. Would very much recommend to anyone!
Best Spokane Stay
My partner and I stayed here at Alisha's place from July thru October with our dog. Her place was genuinely perfect for what we needed and we have struggled to find anything close to it as we continue our journeys as traveling healthcare workers. The rental is 100% private but Alisha was such a great landlord and checked in frequently to see if we had any concerns or issues with the property. Alisha is truly the best landlord I have had and I have lived many places. As for the property, it was perfectly spacious for my boyfriend and our dog with two small bedrooms, a nice downstairs working / office type area, & a small fenced in gated backyard and patio that our pup throughly enjoyed. The kitchen had everything you could need with a very large fridge and a very large brita water filter. The kitchen also had nice little table/dining area. The bedrooms were comfortable and each bedroom featured a dresser and a closet for storage. The smaller bedroom featured a vanity mirror dresser which I appreciated as a female getting ready in the morning. I used the extra bedroom to store some of my extra clothes but it was also nice when my mother came to visit me briefly for a day or two. The bathroom was nice with a bathtub or shower depending on your preference and the mirror in the bathroom had storage behind it when you opened it. The living room upstairs was large with nice wooden floors. The downstairs basement was such a nice bonus! The stairs leading to the nice basement were carpeted with a railing on the left side leading to a very spacious downstairs area! Downstairs was a desk for a computer and a large bookcase with room to put some of your own items or to enjoy some of Alisha's books. Alisha had books on things to do in the area and other interesting reads. My boyfriend never once complained of the internet speed downstairs and he is a gamer and very picky (:! Downstairs also had enough area where I was able to spread out my gym mat in front of a large mirrored closet to do some yoga stretches, etc. The washer and dryer was in a little closeted space on the other side of the stairway in the basement and worked great for us even featuring a little table to fold clothes if you wanted. The backyard was so nice with a little covered concrete patio and picnic table before the grassy area where my dog liked to play fetch in the evenings. I never had to worry about cars in the area because the backyard had tall fences around it that also offered privacy. There was also a little small gated off garden area in the backyard. Alisha had polite, respectful yard services that were scheduled frequently and not something we had to pay extra for. I would also like to mention how incredibly nice her neighbors were both on the left and the right of the house. One of them welcomed us with a citronella candle for the back patio and the neighbor on the other side gave me some vegetables from the local farmers market! The few kiddos in the neighborhood were so sweet that I even decorated the place for halloween. The driveway was enough space for both my tacoma truck with a camper shell and my boyfriends tundra truck if we parked behind another and it honestly was never an issue and were still able to get out around one another. Sometimes, I find myself wanting to come back to Spokane just to rent this space again. You will not be disappointed.
