Blue Room North Review

I felt SO lucky to have found this lovely home in KC. Right from the start, Beth proved herself a very attentive and communicative landlady. It can be nerve-racking to live somewhere unfamiliar with unknown roommates, but Beth ensures to background check all her tenants and have phone conversations with them prior to their move-in. She alone made me feel so comfortable with my choice, and the experience in Blue Room North has aligned perfectly with that comfortability! Beth is so knowledgeable about the KC area, and she individually tends to each tenant based on their needs, which I really really appreciated during my stay. The pricing is so affordable, especially for the space and amenities. Overall, one can really tell just how loved this home is, and I have no doubts that future tenants will feel that love during their stay! Thank you for everything, Beth! You made this experience so wonderful!

Fantastic Place to Stay

Beth has been very accommodating in my stay with her. Im happy to say that living in this location in Kansas City has been an all around great experience. The amenities were great, the location was really close to many places, and the room was very comfortable. Through all of my stay Beth communicated with me and the other tenants, helping and sending people to fix any problems with the house, which were few and far between as is. My stay this summer has been nothing short of amazing, and I would absolutely recommend this place to any potential renter.

Great Landlord, Great Place!!!

It was such a pleasure to rent with Ms. Beth. The house is so beautiful and the price for the rent is super, super reasonable. It is in a good and safe place in town. I normally don't like to park on the street but there have been a few nights where I had to park in the street and my car was safe and secure. The neighbors are SUPER, SUPER CHILL. Also, Ms. Beth is such a great landlord. When I had plans to extend my stay and then when life happened to cut that stay shorter than originally planned, she was so generous and worked well in her dealings with me. I really truly appreciate that A LOT!!! While I was here, she was willing to install window air units in each of our rooms because she knew how hot it could get in the summer, which I thought was very generous of her. She is very caring of her tenants. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to rent this place.

Incredible Stay

Beth is an amazing host! She was so accommodating and reliable. I stayed here for a little over two months on a clinical rotation. The house was equipped with much more than I expected. Its a wonderful space and fit my needs perfectly. The kitchen is spacious with more appliances and amenities than I even needed. The house is in a great location and was a short drive to the hospital I was at, but is also just a quick drive down Main Street from downtown and close to the plaza. It felt like the perfect mix of city access while being on a quiet street. Any issues or questions were addressed promptly by Beth and she made me feel very at home in Kansas City! I couldnt recommend Beth or this property enough!

First Stay in Kansas City

I came to Kansas City for a four month duration where I stayed in the Lavendar room. My stay here was wonderful! Apon arrival the room was in clean and perfect condition with a very comfortable bed with soft bedding. The kitchen was large and spacious with lots of counter space and excellent amenities with wonderful lighting during both day and night. The living room and dining room are rustic and maintain the vibrant character of a historic house with a modern refreshment. The house is located in a quiet area with easy access to busing (and future street car) both into the city and towards the plaza with frequent rides during the week. The landlord is a very kind and dependable person who is easy to contact and ontop of any questions and/or concerns. The property put my worries about finding temporary housing in Kansas City to ease and exceeded my expectations throughout my stay.

Exceptional Stay - perfect for medical students and professionals!

I stayed at Beth's property for a month while completing my medical rotation, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is unbeatable, just minutes away from Truman, St. Luke's, and Children's Mercy hospitals, and a quick drive to the Plaza and Overland Park. The property itself is even better than the pictures suggest, with a kitchen that feels like a chef's heaven, complete with all the amenities you could ever need. Beth was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and genuinely cared about making sure I felt at home. The neighborhood is not only safe but also surrounded by great restaurants. For the rent I paid, I received more than I could have imagined. I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Best host ever

I've been renting from Beth for the month of August, and I am beyond impressed with the recent remodel of the house. The upgrades have truly transformed the space, making it feel modern, comfortable, and inviting. The attention to detail is evident in every room, from the high-quality finishes to the thoughtful layout that maximizes both style and functionality. Beth clearly invested in making this a home, not just a rental property, and it shows. Any issues or requests are promptly addressed, and she has been incredibly accommodating throughout the process. I feel lucky to live in such a beautifully renovated home and highly recommend renting from Beth. Just a 7 minute drive to Truman with lots of great restaurants nearby, perfect for rotating students like me!
