There is way more than just a hotplate here. Our kitchen is fully stocked for whatever culinary adventures you have in store. And if you need specific ingredients, a Supermarket is a 5-minute walk.

We have the cooking equipment for long-term stays, including a toaster, blender, coffee grinder, and lots of kitchen tools, with more pots and pans in a "Lazy Susan." Please know that long-term rentals of 31 days eliminate the government taxes.

Enjoy complimentary premium Peet's coffee or Mint and Lipton teas while listening to the morning headlines via the smart speaker. There are whole beans, a grinder, a pour-over, and a French press should you prefer your fresh coffee that way.

Have a bite at the breakfast bar! Or, if you prefer, eat out for breakfast at any of the many nearby Coffee houses and Breakfast Cafes.

Get some work done in the dedicated office space with Wi-Fi 6, a comfortable chair, surge protector and a door you can close. We replaced the classic wood office chair visible in an earlier photo with a modern ergonomic office chair.

The private entrance to your apartment is via a path on the right side of this historic 1908 Craftsman designed by noted Portland architect Emil Schacht. (See Wikipedia for his other work.)

The off-street private entrance to the space is just 6 steps down after you take the path around the side of the house. There is ample *free* street parking without time limits. Come and go as you please 24hrs a day.

At night, an automatically lighted pathway provides you with 24-hour private access to the apartment.

Where do you want to go? Walk to 2 city circling Streetcar lines or the 3 MAX lines for a wide variety of destinations. NOTE: Places where both Streetcars and major MAX lines are this close are limited to here and downtown Portland. See Trimet.org.

Streetcars go where the MAX does not. Here are some Streetcar destinations: The Pearl District, Breweries, Nob Hill/NW 23rd, shopping, Powell's Books, Voodoo Donuts Too, SE Portland, Loyal Legion beer hall, OMSI, OHSU,
SW Portland, PSU, and much more.

As you can see, the map on this app is loaded with sites to see and places to shop, eat, and drink. When you stay here, "GO BY STREETCAR" is always an option.

Flying to Portland? Ride the MAX directly to our space. Our location near Portland Transit makes a car optional during your stay. And a rental car can always be obtained later without airport fees.

The light rail MAX is located at the west end of the Airport Terminal. Follow the signs after exiting security or getting your bags. Then pay $2.80, board and relax until you reach the NE 7th Ave station.

During your stay, this is your Trimet MAX station at NE 7th Ave. From here it is a flat 10-minute walk to/from the apartment. It can take you straight downtown or to all the corners of core Portland and beyond to other cities nearby like Beaverton.
