Historic Garden Cottage
When this cottage first became available, I got to be the first renter, while my home was being repaired from tornado damage in the summer of 2024. I was so happy to find such a lovely home away from home. Not enough positive comments can be made about this place. The convenient location in a quiet, safe neighborhood is maintained by Vicki and Jack, the best landlords. They always are there if you need them, but sometimes you wish you needed them just so you could enjoy their company.
Excellent in all ways
I stayed in the cottage for four months and it was ideal. The space is inviting, the hosts are superb and so friendly and helpful, the location is nice. Highly recommended.
A Hidden Gem!
I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely cottage during my clinical internship at FSU, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts, Vicki and her husband Jack, were incredibly hospitable and friendly—I honestly can’t say enough positive things about them! They made sure I was taken care of throughout my stay, and I’m so grateful. As an added bonus, you might even spot their adorable kitties wandering around the property. :) The location couldn’t be better: perfectly situated near downtown yet quiet and peaceful, and less than a 10-minute walk to beautiful Cascades Park. Just a short drive from both FSU and FAMU, the neighborhood felt very safe. Inside, the cottage is thoughtfully designed and furnished with hardwood floors throughout and a lovely screened-in patio surrounded by plants and cozy seating. The well-kept grounds add to the overall charm. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
