A home away from home

I recently had the pleasure of spending three months in this charming house located in Sacramento, California, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. The house is perfectly situated in a central part of Sacramento, offering easy access to all the city's amenities while surprisingly being nestled in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Despite its central location, the area boasts a serene ambiance, making it an ideal spot for those looking for tranquility without sacrificing urban convenience. The house itself is a gem. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The highlight, for me, was undoubtedly the bathroom. The shower, which was both spacious and luxurious, featured a double faucet system that made showering a delightful experience, especially when shared with a partner. This thoughtful design not only added to the convenience but also made every shower a relaxing retreat. One of the most delightful aspects of this property was the backyard garden. It was not just a garden but a thriving ecosystem of flavors and colors. We had fresh basil, an array of peppers, juicy peaches, and an assortment of tomatoes including cherry tomatoes right at our fingertips. This garden not only provided us with fresh, organic produce but also added a touch of nature to our daily life, enhancing our stay with its beauty and the joy of gardening. The landlords deserve a special mention. They were incredibly friendly, always ready with a smile, and incredibly helpful. Their attentiveness and genuine care for our comfort were apparent throughout our stay. Living in this house for three months was a blend of comfort and convenience. The combination of a peaceful neighborhood, a centrally located home with modern amenities, and the bounty of a garden, coupled with the wonderful landlords, made this stay memorable. If you're looking for a place that feels like home yet offers the charm of a well-cared-for property, I highly recommend this home. It's not just a place to stay; it's a home away from home!

Dream home in cute neighborhood!

I stayed at this gorgeous home with my partner in late Spring/early Summer and everything was like a dream! The owner Cara is the sweetest host and was super responsive to my questions about how to operate things like the heater and AC. The house itself has such a pleasant, natural California style to it, with plenty of spots to relax next to a sunny window (my favorite is this super cute lounge swing hanging in front of the living room bay window). And I love to cook, so the spacious kitchen with a big island in the middle was perfect. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see so many fresh herbs and fruits growing in the backyard! We were able to enjoy some salad greens, tomatoes, lemons, and basil during our stay that we just clipped from the yard. Lastly, while we do not have any children or pets, this home would be perfect for a family with kids and/or dogs its just a block away from a park with a huge playground and the neighborhood is safe and cute to go for a walk.
