A warmly designed bedroom in the front corner of the home holds an XL Full size bed on a dark wooden frame with a large wooden dresser. One closet with hanging rod and overhead storage. One large window on the south side and one on the east side with thick blinds and curtains. Smart TV in the room. There is a full bathroom with tub just outside of the room that will be all to yourself.

Our historic Brookside neighborhood is exceedingly walkable, with a shopping district to enjoy local coffee, unique artisans, homey eateries and creative events and galleries. The homes are full of distinctively stunning architecture from the 1920s. If I could give 10 stars I would!
Vanessas home is absolutely incredible! You can easily tell she takes pride in having a clean, cozy and welcoming home. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our time staying here. We spent many hours relaxing on the back deck, enjoying the sun room, and walking around the pleasant neighborhood. Her house is conveniently placed walking distance from numerous restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and other districts with many shops and stores. Its also close to a very nice park that my dog and I frequented. Her dog, Otis, is a delight to be around. Many snuggles were given by Otis. Vanessa, herself, is a wonderful host. I have never felt more welcome in a host home before. She went out of her way to give me a list of places and activities that I would enjoy during my time in Kansas City. She was very open to allowing me to use her paddleboard, kayak, and tandem bike. If I could give her more stars I would! My experience in Kansas City truly would not have been the same without staying here!
