Casita West

My husband and I fell in love with Casita West! We did not want to leave. It is a small house that lives much larger than its actual square footage. I often had my family of five for dinner and we never felt crowded. The yard is wonderful! Its large, flat, grassy expanse is a rare mountain find and we enjoyed sitting and watching the variety of birds that visited daily. The location is great! Very convenient to great restaurants, coffee shops, parks, a library, and grocery stores. Our host, Alexa, was outstanding! We have rented many, many houses over the years and have had lots of good hosts, but Alexa is a standout! She was the epitome of what a perfect host should be. She was gracious, easily accessible, and very prompt in addressing issues. It was very evident that she truly wanted us to enjoy our stay in her beloved home and did everything she possibly could to make that happen. We hope to return to Casita West for our future stays in Asheville, as it now feels like home.

Awesome Place

We really enjoyed our stay at Casita West. Casita is a beautiful, cozy and safe place to live. We stayed here for over 9 months and we loved every minute of it. Family oriented neighborhood and friendly people around you. The host, Alexa, was amazing. The property is conveniently located close to Downtown Asheville. Even though the name Casita means little home, the house was surprisingly big inside with a lot of room for entertaining our guests. One thing we absolutely loved was the privacy you enjoy when you seat outside. You are surrounded by bamboo trees and a wooden fence that offers great private space to enjoy solitude. Alexa was an amazing host, always attentive and super accommodating. She knows the perfect balance between giving you your space and at the same time always conveniently available whenever we needed her. We couldnt asked for a better host. If you are debating if you should book this place, just go ahead and do it. You will not regret it.
