Fall-Winter Stay

Im a healthcare traveler, have rented and stayed in many units throughout the US. My stay here was very pleasant. Heater works, hot running water, kitchen wide enough to cook. Full sized fridge. Yes, there are some flies, but thats in any place really. I always carry my Zevos with me and they stay plugged in so I had no issues with flies. Bathroom is also pretty spacious. Neighbor in the upstairs unit is nice and respectful. The laundry room is in the basement. Has a working washer and dryer - NO coins (thank god). My favorite part is I can do laundry in the middle of the night or whenever convenient. I dont have to worry about my packages being stolen in the front porch. I really did appreciate there being a shovel available at least during the days it snowed. Landlord is easy going, responds to you in a timely manner, and very flexible. Willing to work with you unlike other landlords.

Not Clean

This stay was disappointing. There were bugs continuously found in the place. There are hundreds of ants that crawl in from the drains and the bathroom continuously reaks of a smell. There have been countless fruit flies all over, and I didnt even have any fruits or food out. Flies would get into food you just begin to eat, and they came into the fridge and stayed on food inside. The cleaning fee is ridiculous with how unclean the place is. The neighbors are also noisy especially with the house being broken up into 3 (so technically there are people in the other two areas of the house although they dont have access to your room or area). The dog next door barks daily at you, and the neighborhood isnt friendly. You can only access the back door for some reason, and there isnt a laundry unit in the actual place you sleep in - you have to go downstairs and have coins on you. Really bad experience and not worth your money.
