I rented a room in Morris Plains from Maggie and had a solid experience overall. The location is convenient, with easy access to highways, NJ Transit, grocery stores, and local restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. The room was clean and appropriately sized for one person. Shared spaces were generally well maintained, and the household environment was respectful and calm. The landlord was professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Questions or minor issues were addressed in a timely manner, and expectations were clear from the beginning. Overall, this is a practical option for someone looking for an affordable rental in Morris Plains.

NOT a Private Bathroom that was also FILTHY, House Cluttered! UGH.

The owner mis-represented her home, which was cluttered almost to the brink of hoarding, no clear path to the microwave, dirty kitchen counter and sink, grimy stove, DISGUSTING filthy bathroom, which I cleaned before using, EXCEPT the floor which had lots of dirt and grime, as well as bugs, hair and filth in the corners; not even broom-swept, and paint on the walls is peeling. The Landlord was also not honest with me on a few occasions. So bad I moved out 13 days early. STAY AWAY.
