Wonderful Convenience, Quiet, and Comfort

We enthusiastically recommend this property! Its on a quiet street. Nearby are restaurants, groceries, and a pharmacy. Its a 15 minute walk to the Green and Red lines for commuting to Tufts and Boston. The space is comfortable, clean, and well-provisioned. One floor has a good-sized kitchen, bedroom, and living area. The fenced back patio has herbs and tomatoes. The basement has an open plan with a bed, seating area, one-wall kitchen, and office nook. It connects to a private washer/dryer room. The wifi was great for remote work and multiple streaming connections. Each bathroom has a bidet and shower. There was always plenty of hot water. The air conditioning and heating always kept things pleasant. The owner and her family are lovely peopleit shows in the amount of care they give to people as well as the duplex. They are quick to respond to questions and issues while being incredibly kind. We were often remarking how lucky we were to find such a great place with great people.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying in this incredible apartment in Somerville, and I can confidently say it was one of the best living experiences Ive ever had!! The location is unbeatable. As a student at both Harvard & MIT, this apartment made my daily commute a breezejust 56 minutes to Harvard and about 15 minutes to MIT by bike. The proximity to shops, markets, and Boston itself is an absolute dream. Everything you need is right at your fingertips, yet the neighborhood remains so peaceful and quietno noise disruptions at all. Its the perfect balance. The apartment itself is very cozy, warm, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need (amazing kitchen!) The WiFi is fast and reliable, which is a big + for students or professionals who need a solid connection for work or studies. The landlord is nothing short of amazingshe genuinely went above and beyond to make me feel at home. From the moment I arrived, she welcomed me with kindness and ensured I had everything I needed. She even surprised me with fruits and chocolates from time to time, which made me feel like a part of her family. Being away from my own family, and having someone showing you the city around and making you feel at home is just the best. I never experienced any problems during my stay; everything was seamless. If I could extend my time here, I absolutely would! Its quite rare to find a place where the living conditions, location, and human connection all align so perfectly. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone considering a stay in Somerville. You will be SAD to leave!!!
