Would Not Recommend

Not well stocked, even had to buy my own spatula. Should be advertised as a ONE bedroom instead of 2. Due to the poor insulation downstairs, it would be cold downstairs while the upstairs (with poor ventilation) was suffocatingly hot at the same time. Could not use the second bedroom at all. The window is broken with masking tape over all of the cracks that was never fixed in the 4 winter months that we lived there (Cold air comes through). Dryer was never hooked up, so the dryer exhaust including lint was released into the living room. Bathroom has mold due to the shower leaking. You will be without gas for the wall heater, stove, and oven (unable to use/cook) for days without reimbursement. Extremely poor snow removal in the winter (You will have to shovel snow yourself if you want to get your car into the driveway.) Negative experience, poor communication with landlord. Not worth the price.

quiet, sweet escape near new haven

this property is a sweet little escape in the middle of everything. lots of food, grocery, gyms close by but the property feels like it's out in the countryside. about 20 minute drive to YNHH, but very easy and little traffic generally. cottage itself is private and has everything you would need for a short term stay. would recommend and would stay again!
