Went to look at the makeshift little bungalow that the landlord Walter was trying to pitch for rent. The unit is a converted bungalow from what was once a garage. It comes with a small AC unit and no insulation. I imagine itd get very hot in there during the worst summer months here in AZ. So the seemingly nice landlord then shows me the main house where the kitchen is which is very small but somehow he and 2 other female tenants reside there all sharing that tiny space. I needed a place to stay for at least a month though so I agreed on the $250 deposit. Two days later I texted the landlord informing that I wont be needing the bungalow after all because I am moving out of state within a week and there was no reply whatsoever. I asked for half of the $250 security deposit back since it had been less than 2 days since sending it to him and there was no response. Based off of my interaction and experience with this landlord and the price hes asking for on this awkward living arrangement hes got set up, I wouldnt trust this one.
