Awesome Property
I stayed at this property for one month this summer. The place is awesome, they put a lot of time and care into renovating this home and it really shows. Brand new appliances and furniture which are all very nice. The place is huge, really tons of space and a really relaxing environment. Its city living which Id never experienced so be prepared for street parking and all of that but I rarely had a rough time finding a spot on the block regardless of when I showed up. The land lord, Scott, is absolutely awesome incredibly approachable and helpful particularly for me who had just moved to Philly for the first time. Cannot recommend this place enough if you need to be in the actual city.
I had the chance to rent this beautiful home for 10 months, and I would have stayed longer if possible. Scott and Jacky are some of the best landlords I've ever had. They responded quickly if I had questions, and would randomly check in to make sure everything was good with the house. Along with checking in on me - someone they knew was brand new to Philadelphia. Very lucky for you, the 2 direct next door neighbors are the quietest!! Also you will notice how our end of the block is full of great neighbors who would go out of their way to help you. I learned a lot about Philadelphia by having friendly conversations with the neighbors. They too made me feel safe and happy, living next to them. Even though it's an older row home, they have updated it so it has a modern feel to it. The black countertops are beautiful and the refrigerator, stove and microwave are brand new. All the rooms have nice fans and I stayed warm in the winter, and cool before I left in July. The backyard is one of the best parts. It's the perfect size and, I never did hear loud neighbors while back there. Trash pickup is twice a week which was very convenient. Speaking of convenience, you can walk 5 minutes down the street to a big grocery store called Fresh Grocer! FroGro is a great grocery store that you will be quite lucky to practically live next to. I worked for the school district, but I did meet a lot of people living in Grays Ferry area that worked for the hospitals. The commute from the house is only 5 minutes by car, or about 30 min on the bus. I just ask that whomever gets the opportunity to stay here- please just keep it as nice as it is! Because if I'm ever back in Philadelphia, I would be trying to stay again at this perfect house.
