Large house on a Cul de sac in a quiet residential neighborhood. Good for walking, bike riding. Metro is 8 minutes away. Bus at the entrance of the neighborhood. Three grocery stores and many restaurants close by. Convenient to Holy Cross and Medstar Montgomery Hospitals. Downtown Washington, DC 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
Space
We live in a large single family home on a beautiful cul de sac. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to shopping and restaurants. The space for the traveler is quiet and has its own bathroom. It's located on the main floor, near the kitchen, TV room and laundry room. This is a family home, where my children grew up. We also have 2 dogs, who are very sweet. I think anyone who decides to live here will be very happy.

Just like home
My first night here Karen invited me to share the evening meal. The room is as advertised. With a garage fridge for big cooks , the pups are very friendly, and the neighborhood is peaceful and walkable. The cleaning ladies came 1x/month and I took care of my room but they were welcome to take care of the bathroom. I was given the option of what I preferred. Karen was welcoming when my son's stopped by and they were able to stay in my room on thanksgiving. I will happily return to stay again if a good contract for the same area comes my way.
