Great DC rental

Loved staying at this 1 bedroom rental! So much space and don't feel crowded. Rarely heard upstairs neighbors. Wonderful, full kitchen with oven and refrigerator/freezer. Great to have your own washer and dryer which is so rare for rentals in DC. This rental definitely does not feel like a basement apartment. I am a single female and felt very safe in the neighborhood. Also has easy access to the Fort Totten metro line, can walk there or usually just half a block up is a bunch of scooter rentals which makes it even easier. Grocery store and Walmart close by. Easy street parking. Cassi is a great landlord and I would love to get another work contract in DC so I can come back and stay here.

Great space, great location

Enjoyed my time here lots. Very welcoming space and just what I needed for a medium stay. The apartment is very large and feels quite spacious, with its own kitchen and bath. The privacy and the outdoor access made it very serene and comfortable. I appreciated that it was well decorated too, and fully stocked with things I would need during my stay. As for getting around, this was a great location for my needs. ~10 min walk to Fort Totten Metro (both green line and red line stop here) and the walk to the metro is safe and beautiful, crossing through a public park. I didnt need the bus but the bus stop is one block away and goes to downtown. Most importantly, the host was great and easy to communicate with about everything. Highly recommend!

Super nice apartment in a fantasic location

This apartment is very clean spacious and has really good natural light for a basement apartment. Super comfortable and well-equipped. Large kitchen with all the cookware and utensils you need. Very large living area with desk for working and big TV for movie nights. The bed is really comfortable! Very nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit - rare for a 1-bedroom rental. I loved the tasteful decorations! The location is lovely - walking distance to Fort Totten Metro station. Also, convenient bus service on New Hampshire Ave to get to the city center. The nearby neighborhood center of Petworth has lots of amazing restaurants/cafes, grocery stores (including a natural food store that I loved), and a wonderful public library. I highly recommend this apartment!
