Private room in Eugene, Oregon
Landlord Tenure: 1 year, 11 months
The house is a 3bd/1.5ba single story with sunk in living room. Gotta love the 70s! A breezeway separates the former garage, now converted to an ADU, from the main house and is where my 83yrs wise, happy, healthy and independent mother lives.
We are located on a small alley with friendly neighbors all around. Little miss Lulu is a sweet, shy at first indoor/outdoor kitty. In time if you let her, she will happily sit in ...
A flexible space w/ 2 configurations, sleeping & alt use (work, yoga, etc) , a comfortable fit for 1 person (10x11). There is an entry space for personal effects upon home arrival. Guest would access full bath from the hall & host wo...
We are centrally located in Eugene, Oregon on the eastern side of college hill on a main public transit line. The neighborhood is very walkable. It's a 5-7 minute walk to Oak Street Medical and Pearl Street Medical, 15 min walk to UofO and a 20 min walk to downtown. The Amazon running trail which also connects to the Ridgeline trail system is a couple blocks away.
enjoyed staying
Autumn is such a kind and thoughtful person. She made me feel completely at ease during my stay and always checked in to see if I needed anything. The location of the house is also excellentthere are many places within walking distance, including several restaurants, cafs, and a Safeway just five minutes away. I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.
Great Place to Stay
I really enjoyed staying with Autumn, and would recommend this place to fellow travelers. There is a very cute cat and the place is in a great location (can walk to downtown easily, and for runners- you're right next to the Amazon trail). Autumn can recommend many places around town (grocery shopping, restaurants, etc), and is the perfect amount of friendly. She's also really thoughtful and courteous, and you can easily work with her to figure out any normal potential housemate issues (kitchen space, schedule, etc.). The room itself is a little on the small side, but this can be alleviated if you don't mind operating a murphy bed. There is also a (small) standing desk which is nice for people who don't want to sit all the time.
