Country quiet

The space in this apartment was good. But I was so disappointed at the condition it was in. Very dirty and dusty. I spent the first week of my vacation cleaning. When I arrived, the kitchen and bath were not clean at all. All. I contacted the host and she did come and do a light cleaning but not nearly enough. The floors of the apartment are flagstone and impossible to clean. They need a professional cleaning and they should be sealed. There were no cleaning tools.. No vacuum, no mop. I borrowed a vacuum from a friend and was able to get an unbelievable amount of dust out of the furniture and the floors. I bought a mop and left it there. The host was not very friendly. Because of all the dust I coughed through the whole visit and I'm sure she could hear it in her upstairs unit. Not my fault. I was able to hear a lot of movement in the upstairs unit but not conversations. I paid a $200 cleaning fee at check-in and She credited me $50.
