Our garden-style studio apartment has a private entry and is attached to the back of a tenant-occupied main house, with one shared wall within. During extensive remodeling, the shared wall was heavily insulated, with sound barrier boards added. The property is accessed via a shared, secure driveway gate; from there, the footpath takes you to a private, gated patio area and a private, secure entry into the studio.
