Hospital adjacent, Fully Furnished 1BR w/Office

Stephanie is wonderful!

I unfortunately did not get the opportunity to stay at this home after booking with Stephanie due to my travel assignment being cancelled. I still wanted to leave a review because Stephanie helped me navigate this tough time, and was so kind through the process. She promptly returned my full security deposit and even returned my non-refundable cleaning fee. If I ever get a chance to work/stay in the Akron area again, Stephanie will be the first person I reach out to!

Safety and communication did NOT meet expectations

I experienced multiple unresolved issues during my stay. The couch was already broken prior to move-in and only minimally addressed. The mudroom ceiling leaked repeatedly, and an exterior awning became unstable while my dog and I were nearby. Amenities listed washer/dryer, but it was a portable washer missing parts that leaked when connected and did not dry clothes, requiring me to use a laundromat. Despite confirming winter driveway maintenance before booking, this was not followed through on and I had to shovel/salt the first snowfall myself. The driveway was only partially cleared, and my car slid down the steep driveway, sustaining damage after contacting a neighbor’s wall. After move-out, an additional $100 was withheld from my deposit for “excessive dog hair,” with no resolution after several attempted follow ups.

Stephanie rocks, house is nice too

Hospitality means the most when working and it’s safe to say of all the places I’ve lived I’ve never had a landlord like Stephanie. She is always available to answer questions and it’s clear she cares. The house itself is spacious, there’s plenty of parking and safety is not an issue. Whole house heats up quickly, appliances are new and you get your own laundry machines that you can’t hear running. Overall happy with my stay, I’ve slept well and would recommend to any clinicians working in the Akron hospital system.

Amazing property with an even greater Host!

My wife and I LOVED our 3 months stay at this unit. Our host, Stephanie, was so accommodating and we were even welcomed with a thoughtful welcome basket (Cat toys included!) We were here in Akron for 3 months, and honestly, we spent many days just relaxing on the screened in patio, watching the nature all around us or cooking in the state of the art kitchen. We couldn't have asked for a better space to stay while travel nursing. It's quiet, lots of fresh air, close to so many unique restaurants and 10 minutes from the Cuyahoga National park. I hope we get to come back here for another assignment because this house was amazing, and we are so grateful. Thank you again Stephanie for an amazing, wonderfully decorated, stocked and clean place to live for 3 months.
