I had a great experience with this rental. The apartment itself has everything you need and has a great layout. Hyde Park is a really nice neighborhood - walkable and very safe. Gene is an outstanding host. I absolutely recommend!

Hyde Park Studio

I had such an amazing experience staying here. It was the perfect size and location for my travel contract. Gene was a great landlord and super easy to work with throughout my stay. I would definitely book here again and have loved this area.

Hype Park Studio

I had an amazing experience for my 3 month rental. The studio itself has everything you need (towels, dishes, sheets/pillows) and has a nice layout. Hyde park is a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, with a community pool right up the road. It has a great location to the city but it doesn't feel like you are in the city at all. It is also close to the airport which is nice. Gene is a great host, super responsive and flexible. I would stay again for sure.

Chest studio !

This studio had everything I needed for my 3 month stay. It has a nice coffee machine and has a modern touch. I love it! The neighborhood is a beautiful and its very family oriented so a lot of families are always out and about walking their dogs. There is a pool open that free to the public. I worked overnight so I needed the quietness during the day and I was able to get that here! There wasnt any unnecessary knocking on my door. I love staying here . Perfect place. Gene was also very nice and made sure when I settled in I had everything I needed . Would definitely come back.

Excellent location and place!

I stayed here for 3 months in advance of moving my family to Austin. I appreciated the nice walkable neighborhood, the new feel to everything, the promptness of the landlord and how extremely well prepared the place is. It came with everything I needed: towels, dishes, sheets, decor, internet, etc and extremely well decorated too! Great place!

Perfect cozy studio in idyllic neighborhood

My husband and I stayed at Gene's Cozy Hyde Park Retreat for just over a month--it was our first experience with Furnished Finder, and man, I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this website (having never heard of it before!) Not only does it seem like a great resource in general for short term stays, but it allowed us the opportunity to stay in this place that was so perfect for our needs. The studio is small but so well laid out, that it really doesn't feel it. You're not want for anything with a full kitchen with oven and dishwasher, queen size bed, laundry!!, large tv, full size couch, desk, and a really decent sized closet. It's modern, clean, cute, and has a lot of windows for great natural light. And the AC works great, super important here! Not to mention that Gene has done a great job of stocking the place with just about everything you could need for your stay. Overall it is just very thoughtfully appointed. Of course, I'd be remiss not to mention how wonderful the neighborhood is--it's extremely cute, quiet, and the neighbors are friendly. We loved taking walks every evening and seeing the neighborhood come alive with people who've probably been inside hiding from the heat all day :) There's a small grocery, cute bakery, and a few restaurants a few blocks away. HEB and some other shops are only a few minutes drive (or 15 min walk) away and tons of other resources within a short drive. Gene was very easy to reach when needed. Though we luckily never actually needed anything from him for the apartment, we did ask for an extension on our rental, and with that and the application/move in process, he was very communicative through it all, flexible, and super friendly! We hope to stay here again if we're back in Austin for an extended trip. If you couldn't tell already, highly recommend!
