Great Location and property, subpar property management

I'm giving this a 4 star review, the property itself is a 5 star with a fantastic location, the management of it, unfortunately, was of 2-3 star quality and could be improved. The positive-The property is on the smaller end of things but great if you are looking to save money with your stipend. The appliances are new and updated and the tv is very high quality. Keep in mind that this only has a mini - kitchen and fridge. The bathroom can be a tad small and requires a little bit of maneuvering but otherwise I didn't feel crammed. The best part about this property is the location, it is closed to tons of restraunts and shops and a very close drive/bike to the grocery store. It also has easy access to the Deschutes river. The negative- The management of this property is not done that well in my opinion. The owners are extremely kind and welcoming but they seem very occupied with their other business, so this rental will be in the back of their minds. When negotiating a lease for this property, they initially wanted me to pay for cleanings every two weeks, which I negotiated to monthly. During this negotiating process, I recieved responses to my messages and emails every 3-7 days, making this an extremely drawn out process. This delayed me securing the lease, and the uncertainty in my housing situation, despite their guarantees, was not enjoyable. While I was renting the unit, I had one main problem when the wifi router stopped working. Because it wasn't accessible to me, I asked the owner to reset it. It took 3 days for them to come and reset it which was a bit frustrating. Lastly, after move out, it took over a month to even recieve a response when asking for my deposit back. In fact, I did not recieve a response to text or emails, and only recieved a response to a phone call. Overall, the owners seem like great people but with a little too much on their plate which can lead to the management of this property being neglected. I believe I was their first tenant here since COVID so I anticipate that they will get better or hire someone the more people stay at this property.
