As a traveling medical student this was one of the best place I have stayed all year and affordable for the area! It did take a second to find the exact apartment, but the place was fully equipped with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom and kitchen. The only downside is the apartment complex hallways are not the absolute most kept up, however that is 1000% the apartment complex fault and you see that everywhere. You do have to pay for laundry in the basement, but thats expected with bigger cities. The host was very responsive and so sweet. Highly recommend!

I stayed at the property from Oct 1- Oct 30th 2024. My contract at the hospital canceled and I had to stop my contract, gave her 3 weeks notice. She waits days to respond and other times doesn't respond at all. Is very difficult to work with. She then told me she got another tenant signed on for the 1st of November. We rushed to move out of the place to accommodate the transfer to the new tenant. She then doesn't return full deposit because the new tenant didn't move in till the 3rd and charged me 3 days of rent. Her ceiling fixtures weren't installed properly and were falling down. Took weeks to repair/didn't repair before we moved out. The apartment complex is old. The hallways smell and had carpet stains. The complex is constantly doing maintenance, like water shut offs or water heater off. She doesn't inform you of the maintenance till the day of or not at all. I was there for just one month don't know how longer would be. When I asked for a refund she made a joke of it.

This tenant did sign a three month lease with me. When her contract cancelled, I did allow her out of the remainder of her lease and refunded her deposit less the three days of vacancy in her lease. When I told her I had found a new tenant she responded she had already moved out. The light fixture was a new install that was installed by a professional electrician. When the tenant let me know there was an issue, she said not to worry as they would be out of town for the weekend and then the following communication was that they had already left. Before the tenant was upset that I didnt refund three days of her lease I could not fill, she told me she loved the place and didnt want to leave. It was when I refunded her deposit less the three days she started name calling, and didnt feel she was responsible for any vacancy when breaking a lease. The building did have one emergency water shut off while she was there that lasted a few hours and I let the tenant know.
