Fabulous home away from home

We stayed at Vita's and Seth's place while visiting relatives and friends for an extended stay in Connecticut. The central location, CLEAN and QUIET "home" was perfect for our needs. The views from both inside and outside of the home to the lake, seeing eagles flying about and other wildlife, is priceless. The sunsets are camera ready and "frameable". The hosts were very accommondating to any additional needs we may have had. The home was beautifully and fully furnished. We would stay with them again if our travel plans warranted. A very delightful family and location.

Great 1-mo stay!

It's even better than advertised - stayed here for one month this fall and had a great time. Vita and Seth, the hosts, are very attentive and welcoming, regularly checking in to make sure everything is going well without ever overstepping. The property itself is lovely with very comfortable furnishings, lovely outdoor views, great temperature control, and all amenities thoughtfully provided before I even realized I needed it. Move in and move out were very smooth and overall the property was well located with nearby grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers. Would highly recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about this property and the owners. I dont know where to begin. Honestly, it was above my budget but it was well worth it. I hands down am SO thankful I stayed here and do not regret it for one second!! The backyard is amazing and secluded! My dogs absolutely loved it and it immediately relaxed me coming home from work/waking up to that view! The owners are the nicest most considerate, caring people you will meet! And the housing has everything you need plus a lot more to be as comfortable as possible! I was up there for 3.5 months on a travel nurse assignment (you cant beat the wonderful commute to UCONN hospital). The only reason I didnt renew with this property was because I had personal things back home I needed to get to. I truly believe this property and the owners made my stay in Conneticut so much better than it would have been had I stayed anywhere else.

This is an absolute gem!

Living on the water with amazing view and sunsets - what could be better?! The apartment is very spacious, has everything you need and even more. It is so very well furnished and so nicely styled. The area is very safe, quiet and so close to all the stores and restaurants. There are also kayaks and paddle board available for use on the lake that I enjoyed very much. The hosts, Vita and Seth, are the nicest people. This place truly deserves ten out of five stars!

Lakehouse Paradise

My husband and I stayed here for three months during our travel contract at Hartford Hospital. We had a comfortable stay, and this place felt like home away from home. It was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed, and the commute to work was easy. Vita and Seth were great hosts and very responsive to any needs we had. Plus the view is incredible.
