Your place is a duplex and has neighbors underneath so being respectful of quiet hours is important in this space. Excellent communication
My husband and I are military and I was able to book and sign a rental agreement including a deposit with Ms. Linda long distance, which I was very nervous about but I trust furnished finder so we did it. Then my husband was going to have to stay at his AIT longer than initially planned and she was very accommodating to changing the lease dates, THEN we got permanent housing much sooner than expected and Ms. Linda was able to return the deposit same day. I appreciated the honesty and integrity and am sure we missed out on having an excellent landlord.
A Gem
We had the absolute joy of calling this cute, quaint little gem home for 3.5 months, and it truly had everything we needed (and a few sweet surprises we didn't even know we wanted). The house is cozy in all the right ways, the kind of cozy that makes you exhale the second you walk in. The front garden is amazing, with fresh herbs right outside the front door. Having our own personal fire on the front porch was pure magic. Morning coffee and evening chats- 10/10 vibes. The park is just a few steps away, which was a dream for our family. It felt like we had an extended backyard without any of the mowing. The owner Linda is an absolute ray of sunshine. As newcomers to the area, her recommendations were gold, and her spirit made us feel instantly welcome. You can tell this home has heart because the person behind it does. Overall: highly recommend. If you're looking for a charming and cozy stay with a side of front-porch firelight, this is your spot!
More than a place to stay
To say what I have called "the little red house" a home is an understatement. This house, the neighbors, and Linda and Luis have provided me a place of comfort and community. I have stayed here for a little over a year originally as a travel nurse for a hospital in Olympia. I got a job in Auburn and then in Seattle but stayed here. I did not want to leave this house so bad that the 1.5 hour commute was worth it to me. Linda and Luis will make you feel at home and make you feel like family. Everything I could have ever needed or asked for they were dependable and made it happen. If you're lucky they'll even have you for wine and pizza nights! The park across the street is wonderful. I have loved my easy 20 minute walk to downtown to get my steps in, but there is a FREE bus that stops right at the park. There is not a single bad thing I have to say about this place. Stay here and you'll meet wonderful people and have a wonderful time.
