Scam

Writing a review as a follow up to my husband's review. We have filed in small claims which is really difficult to do, Benton County does not make it easy to file from out of state, so be warned if you are also a travel nurse. Scott never gave us our deposit back, when he finally responded, he gave a bunch of excuses until he told us to "stop crying" about our deposit. Case number is 26-SC0401 if you want to look it up. Stay away from this rental.

Everything above is fabricated. These two tenants, Zach B and Christopher H, have pets and they do not clean up after them. They stayed in my place for a 2 month period and did not clean the floors or the bathroom one time. I have photos to support this. I do usually give the deposit back within a day or so of the tenant leaving but I had a death in the family the weekend that they moved out. I was not able to reply to them right away (probably what made them upset in the first place) but I did apologize and explain why my response was slow in getting back to them. They just continued to be pissed and then started a bullying campaign threatening to sue if I don't return all of the deposit. I explained that the clean up took a lot longer than usual due their not cleaning (seemingly ever while they stayed there) but they did not want to hear this I guess. The reason for an additional pet deposit is too insure that the tenants clean up after their pets. They did not, so I was forced to keep the pet deposit.

Ghosted on Deposit

I checked out of Scott's house 2 weeks ago. Everything was fine until we asked for our deposit and Scott completely stopped responding. While he was normally responsive, he now will not return a phone call or text, the phone rings a couple times then goes to voicemail. We thought we had a good stay, but now realize we were scammed. Scott owes us $850 (deposit plus pet deposit) which we it now looks like we will have to go to court to attempt to recover. We are currently working to make sure this listing gets taken down so others are not scammed as well.

Rotation Stay

I stayed here for one of my rotations with Trios Health Medical Center. The house was clean, well-furnished, and conveniently located near the hospital where I worked as well as groceries stores/restaurants. Scott was responsive and accommodating, ensuring all utilities were set up before our arrival and checking in on how our stay was. I would highly recommend staying here!
