Nice accommodations

Very nice mother in law suite, the accommodations were perfect for me, plenty of space, clean and good furnishings, full size refrigerator, microwave, tv, access to washing machine and dryer. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are pleasant, would often see families out on my walks. There was lots of places to shop near by, including many restaurants and a movie theater in the area. The landlord respected my privacy, I never had issues with them. Overall a great experience there.

Very unaccommodating

A few points from our experience of staying there: 1. They access your home without telling you or a permission. 2. Their dog that they keep outside, untrained and unsocialized spends nights in a garage that is right next to our bedroom, it barks at night or during a day in a backyard. 3. The ad states that 1 parking space is provided, however there is no parking unless you walk 200 feet. We travel a lot and its a lot of fun to load and unload the truck for a camping or skiing trip. 4. Terrible neighborhood: someone was screaming at each other for 3 hours straight (domestic dispute), no one cared to call a police, however my car was reported as parked more than 72 hours and almost towed, when I went on vocation and had nowhere else to park it. 5. The adu had leaking sink, broken furniture, holes in walls and scratches everywhere, missing lightbulbs (had to buy some), no kitchen ware or cleaning equipment (mop or vacuum) 6. Shower is lukewarm, water never gets hot, we stayed for 2 months never could take a hot shower. 7. They never turned on a heat, night temps were down to high 30s. 8. There are restrictions on what time you can do laundry (very inconvenient hours) 9. Very infeasible for night shift: very bright room, no curtains or holders to hang some, noisy outside, barking dog, inconsiderate landlords and neighbors. 10. We never signed any type of lease agreement, they just asked for payment and started changing house rules. I was lucky we got our deposit back. 11. Overall, very unaccommodating and frugal people that have no idea how to be good landlords. Bad experience, do not recommend staying there.
