I grew up on a dairy farm in Bavaria Germany and moved to Alaska at age 25 to start a life as a wilderness and outdoor guide. 20+ years later I am still living the lifestyle of guiding and splitting my time between my two homes in Alaska and Southern Utah. I am a kayaker, backpacker, paddler and mountain biker and I guide all these disciplines in Alaska, the US Southwest and the Rocky Mountains.
