Neighborhood feel not safe at all, parking is a struggle and onpy parking is in fron of the house. Every time I came back home from work or grocery shopping, I had to wait for the owners to move their car, which sometimes took more than 30 minutes and looked bothered. T was great and amiable, but C didn't really stay in touch nor check up like other landlords. I couldn't do overtime or go out in the evenings cause of the parking situations. I went to a work conference for a week and mind you, I have never in my 10 years traveling and using furnished finder, had the need to 'inform' my landlords about me being absent for a couple days. Flew back in at night and next thing you know I get wokep up to Carmen being inside my unit (detached unit, downstairs unit, private entrance), it was 5:58 am and it was the biggest scare of my life. Did not feel safe after that and she explained she went inside because she didn't see my car for the whole week and the she had been checking the cameras
Horrible experience
I would not recommend this listing. We agreed over text that Id move in on March 23, 2025. I paid a $1,000 deposit, $493.50 for the rest of March, and a $66 cleaning fee upfront. The day of move-in, the host suddenly told me I couldnt come, despite our agreement. After I explained I had nowhere else to go, she eventually let me in late that night. The apartment was not cleanthere were crumbs in the bed, a heavily stained mattress, hair on the walls, red marks in the shower, and no usable space in the fridge. There were also empty alcohol cans, marijuana, and two stripper polesone right outside the bedroom window. She told me that window is used if someone gets locked out, which made me feel unsafe. I stayed two nights, didnt sign a lease, and left. The host has refused to return my deposit, the cleaning fee I paid for a place that wasnt clean, or the rest of March rent. Communication since then has been dismissive and unprofessional. Very stressful experience.
