This place was amazing. I stayed there for a year and loved it. The area is quiet and very relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed being out in the country. I had the privilege of holding a newborn goat. I cooked many meals there using the nice new pots and pans. The knives were also new and definitely sharp,as a traveler we notice and appreciate these things. There are lots of cooking utensils and a nice big cutting board. There is plenty of coffee and tea plus a bottle water unit that dispenses hot or cold water. There is a really nice electric fireplace that puts out heat so in the winter you can make it extra warm and cozy. My favorite thing about this property was the landlords. The Tuckers are some of the finest people you will ever meet. I really hated to leave because they made me feel like family. I doubt I will ever find landlords as gracious and loving again. I was very fortunate to have found this place and get to know these wonderful people.

Awesome cabin with everything! Every detail was thought of and the cabin is so well done. Definitely a place to relax after work.

Idyllic country getaway

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! This cabin is sooo adorable & well thought out. It has rustic country charm but with all the modern conveniences. WiFi, large smart tv, coffee station, kitchenette with full sized appliances, all-in-one washer/dryer unit, on demand hot water, comfy furniture & cozy queen size bed. Perfect for 1-2 people. This cabin is out in the country, surrounded by beautiful green rolling hills and near a variety of farm animals & wildlife. Theres even an above ground pool set up for summer cool-offs & a fire pit for unwinding under the stars! Its quiet & serene, next to respectful neighbors, so if you need to get away from big city noise this is perfect. Its about 10 minutes drive to Dover or Augusta- super quaint small towns with restaurants, Ohio River ferry, and a super cute historic winery, or about 20 minutes to Maysville with even more history, tours, a historic bourbon distillery, foods, theaters, and just incredibly nice people everywhere. All of this is fabulous, but my favorite part about staying here is the wonderful down to earth family who own & maintain this cabin, the Tuckers. This is a working farm, so someone is driving through the property daily, ensuring everything is safe & running as it should. Theyre always available if theres a question or any special requests, but are never invasive and will just let you enjoy some personal time. I was recommended to this place by friends who stayed here (a married couple) and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Honestly this my favorite short term rental Ive ever stayed in! Ill definitely be back.
