Comfortable home, private room with private bath 3 miles from KUMC and KU Health System

Would not recommend

During the course of my stay I was repeatedly called/texted about my whereabouts (despite being an adult) while I was attending my classes. I informed her before moving in that my education is my priority and when unable to have a job was yelled at for being in the house too much and too little. With her limited space I was originally told I could keep food sealed in the room only to later be told she had a mouse problem (not disclosed till after moving in) forcing me to keep everything in a tub. Then at some point she claimed I was the reason the mice were there, while droppings accumulated in her cabinets that she didn't notice until after I had to report her for unsanitary conditions. I do not recommend living here because of both her behavior and her quickness to yelling at renters she suspects of being remotely suspicious (just living). She discriminated against me for not being the typical nursing student (the app advertises to everyone in need of a furnished temp space).

Comfy and welcoming!

Molly (and her dog Teddy), made my time in KC working at Children's Mercy such a great experience. The room and private bath were in pristine condition and Molly made me feel so welcome in all the common spaces. The neighborhood was such a great location and gyms, restaurants, and shopping was all within a 5 minute drive, (Children's Mercy was about a 20 min commute). Molly was a respectful and kind host who communicated clearly and proactively. Definitely recommend reaching out to Molly if you're looking for housing in the KC area.

Wonderful place to stay

I stayed at this property for a few months over the summer and it was an amazing home away from home. Molly was so kind and always provided a quick response whenever I reached out about anything. It was located in such a convenient area, and I was so happy with my stay overall!
