Exquisite 'Cottage' in Redwood City

Close to Stanford

I stayed at this location for a 26wk OR contract at Stanford Hospital. Pros: Newly updated Great bathroom/shower Good AC/Heat Close to Stanford Responsive owners Cons: Shared parking spot, bumper to bumper street parking all over neighborhood (this situation made me late for work waiting for a car to be moved). Ant/roach issues. No stove, small counter space, hard to shop and prepare meals. Too many owner possessions taking up limited storage space. Porch smells like trash/compost most of the week and flies get into unit constantly. You hear everything that goes on in the main house, unit connects to their kitchen. Lots of speaker phone conversations. This unit is adequate for a short stay and if you want to be really close to the hospital. Not suitable for my longer budget conscious contract.

Perfect Space and Great Hosts

The rental was well-equipped, clean, and recently rennovated. It is a short drive to Stanford Hospitals and off-street parking was a bonus. Angie and Keith were excellent hosts.
