The Casita is a separate small adobe house. It is a super quiet, light-filled space. Happy Rooster Farm is 1.5 acres in the South Valley of Albuquerque, 20 minutes from downtown. I live on the property with my 17 yo son and there is another Studio Apartment rented to a Traveling Nurse. We have 2 dogs and a cat, and do not allow any other pets. We have beautiful outdoor shared spaces and an outdoor hot tub under the stars.
Neighborhood overview
In the far South Valley of Albuquerque. Just off I-25 and 20 minutes from Downtown and Nob Hill. The Los Padillas neighborhood is an old agricultural area, with a mix of old adobes and big new homes. I am on 1.5 acres and rent my back half acre to three horses. The old acequia irrigation system is used in this area - offering endless opportunities for beautiful shaded walks, runs, or rides. I have the best neighbors!
