For you water/bike enthusiasts, this is your place! You're about 2 blocks from Encinal Beach & public boat launch w rentals & more, public pool and bike path options in all directions. Covered bike storage available here. Easy access to public transport to east bay or SF. Sos likes to cook/share & since I'm not a cook I welcomed his generosity. If you do cook, not shown are the outdoor kitchen and gadgets you have access to. The tub/shower enclosure is big enough to share w your hanging swim/wetsuit gear. Lots of storage! Your unit is on the ground floor, Sos lives above you. Initially, I was skeptical of noise but I rarely heard or ran into him & for u single females, I always felt safe and had privacy. Friendly neighborhood with no concerns of car break-ins. Sos's daughter manages the finances, was equally available & flexible w my payment method request. My positive traveling experience in Alameda was because of Sos's generosity and hospitality. Thank you Sos!

A fantastic place for the working professional

Living here met all my needs perfectly, made even better by Sos, the on-site landlord. I needed a furnished place quickly for a new job and didnt want to overspend. Since I rarely cooked, the setupwith hot plates, toaster ovens, air fryer, crockpot, and full-sized fridgewas ideal. The space was also larger than expected. If you're looking here, you likely already know how special Alameda issafe, walkable, full of great restaurants, and with a small-town vibe that stands out from nearby areas. What truly makes this place exceptional is Sos. Hes incredibly helpful and generous, often offering home-cooked meals, which meant a lot during my long work hours. His daughter Jasmine handled the rental process and is just as wonderful. I planned to stay 3 months but ended up staying 7, only leaving to move in with someone. I couldnt recommend this place more!
