Wonderful Place to Stay

This was honestly such a great place to stay over the course of 2 months. The owner was always very friendly, and made it very clear that she wanted her hosts to be comfortable for the entire duration of their stay. My room was very spacious and clean, and I had no issues with there being a shared bathroom as it was always clean and available. The neighborhood is also in a very peaceful, and safe area. I'm really grateful to have had such a welcoming accommodation, and if I ever come back to California, this would definitely be the best place to stay.

Great home away home for traveling professionals!

I really enjoyed my stay with Lucreese during my six-month travel nursing job in Valencia. Right from the beginning, she made me feel at home. She was always friendly, helpful, and quick to assist with anything I needed. Since I worked night shifts, it was important to have a quiet place to sleep during the day. The house and neighborhood were peaceful, safe, and comfortable. Shared spaces were always clean, and everyone respected each other's privacy. I usually prefer a private bathroom, but sharing one here was easy because everyone was thoughtful about timing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend Lucreese's home to other travel professionals who want a comfortable and welcoming place.

I had an amazing experience staying here and couldnt have asked for a better landlord. She was kind, welcoming, and always responsive whenever I had a question or needed anything. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and very safe, making it easy to relax after long workdays. Im genuinely grateful for how well I was treated throughout my stay. Its not easy to find both a wonderful place and a landlord who truly cares, but I found both here. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone, especially traveling professionals looking for a safe, comfortable, and stress-free place to stay. Great place to stay

This place is great ! The owner is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. I was working the graveyard shift during my stay and never had any issues getting god sleep. One thing a really appreciated is that she used to be a travel nurse, so she understands the needs of travelers and makes the experience comfortable I would definitely recommend this place, and I would absolutely stay here again if I'm ever back in the area.

Great place to call home

Initially, I was concerned about sharing a bathroom, but my concerns were quickly put to rest. The hall was immaculate. The owner was easy to talk to. Everyone was respectful. It was peaceful. There was never an issue. She was always there to talk for any reason if I had to come back to California again this would be where I would live. I really appreciate her for all that she did for me and the way she treated others. It's a great place to stay.

Lucresse is great. My room was huge. The kitchen is big, NO parking issues (I am a mid shifter). Nice pool. I had a fridge in the room and it was quiet. Huge Samsung TV.

I had a wonderful experience staying here. The hostess listens & attends to your needs promptly. The place is in a good & safe neighbohood, near shopping centers & restaurants. I would recommend it for sure!

Lucresse to the Rescue

I would have continued staying here, but my contract ended, and I needed to return home. Here are the reasons I recommend Lucresse's place: 1. Quietness: But for the noise of mowing machines when landscapers come to mow grass, the area is quiet. Whether you work days or nights, you'll have plenty of quietness. 2. Proximity to work. My drive to the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital was 12 minutes. When there is traffic, it could take up to 15 minutes. I usually use Google Maps to help me get the best route for the day. I do not like driving for 30 minutes after a long day at work. So, this place was excellent for proximity. 3. Supplies. You will be fine if all you want to take with you are your clothes and your personal hygiene supplies. Lucresse has provided the kitchen supplies you will need. Plus, in addition to the big fridge downstairs, you will have your own mini-fridge in your room; you do not always have to get out of your room for a cold drink.

A quiet beautiful place. The neighborhood is great. The host is amazing. She made me feel home and welcomed the moment i walked in. The check in process was smooth and easy, i arrived at 3am but checked in seamlessly. Great location for my work and pretty much close to everything. I will definitely stay again when in town. Highly recommended for long term stay.

Great Place!

I stayed here while on an assignment HMMC! One of the best places Ive stayed while traveling! It is close by many hospitals and shopping centers. The owner is very welcoming and makes you feel at home! I will stay here again if Im ever in the area!

I rented a room from Lucresse in Castaic, CA, starting in October 2024 and stayed through the end of my contract. She was very accommodating and made my stay comfortable. I returned in January after renewing a second contract and continued to receive the same great service. I left in March, but came back briefly to pick up some food I had left in her freezer. When I told her I was about to drive 16 hours, she kindly insisted I stay the night to rest and leave the next day. Lucresse is incredibly thoughtful, kind, and reasonableand she didnt even charge me for that extra night. Her hospitality and care truly meant a lot to me.

Avoid this property

I zelled owner deposit. She informed me property would not be available until 3/15. I informed her my current place I rent ends on 3/16. We did not establish a move in date at that time. The owner reached out to me to on 3/15 and asked me when I was going to move in. I advised her I fly back in town on 3/20 (I am from Missouri). Owner states rent starts on the 15th. I explain I never stated I was moving in on the 15th and reminder her my end date with current rental ended on 3/16. I then offered to stick with the 15th although this date was never agreed upon. The owner then states she is going to give the room away. I then request for my $250 deposit to be returned. The owner states I forfeited my deposit because "I decided" not to move in on the 15th! So she just took my deposit even after I agreed to stick with the date. How is this legal? And she claims to be a travel nurse...but she is taking deposits and not returning them. Poor business practices and poor character.
