South Tabor is an idyllic, highly walkable and bikeable neighborhood in the heart of Southeast Portland. It's just south of one of Portland's iconic parks, Mt. Tabor. It's also close to the bustling Division St. and Hawthorne Blvd. commercial districts with their restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and stores.
Magical experience!
I had the absolute pleasure of staying in this furnished two-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath home for five months and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Tucked away behind two other houses, this place is incredibly peaceful and quiet. The house itself is basically brand new, thoughtfully designed, and fully stocked with everything you could need. The location is unbeatablenestled in a real neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle, yet just minutes from some of Portlands best food spots. Its the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Joe, the landlord, is a genuinely lovely person. He was always attentive, easy to communicate with, and made sure everything was just right throughout my stay. The only reason I left was because I had to return to Austinotherwise, I would have happily stayed much longer. If youre looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and perfectly located home in Portland, this is it!
