Horrible Place

I went to visit a family member! Came back and they put all my stuff outside by the grocery store and let all the homeless people take all my things! Was rude about a disagreement! Was listening in on my conversations on camera and going back watching me. It was very much a bad long term stay!

It is unfortunate that you feel this way. From the very beginning, we did our best to be understanding, patient, and accommodating. When you informed us that you were unable to send payment through Zelle or Venmo, we made an exception and allowed payment to be mailed in the form of money orders, something we do not normally accept. After depositing the money orders, our bank determined they were counterfeit and fraudulent. The bank conducted a formal investigation and provided written documentation confirming its findings. Despite this situation, we continued to communicate respectfully and professionally. At no point were we rude or disrespectful. This was a month-to-month rental agreement, not a long-term tenancy. We received fraudulent payment for April and no payment for May despite occupancy through May 17. In addition, significant damage was left at the property, requiring repairs at our own expense. The exterior security cameras are installed solely for the safety and security of the property and its occupants and are not used to listen to private conversations. We wish you the best moving forward.

Great property!

Brent was flexible with me and my travel nurse assignment, and I’m so appreciative of that. This place is beautiful, and having a garage here in Bakersfield is so worth it. I was very comfortable during my stay here and I would come stay here again if I come back.

Had a 10/10 experience with Brent! Was always a phone call or text away! House was nice had everything you needed for a stay. Would definitely recommend!

NOT suitable for Long-term Stays, Terrible Landlord

I can write a full-blown essay on my issues staying here, but I'm only allowed 1000 characters. 1) TERRIBLE communication and regulation of the property! -NUMEROUS times I stated a concern to the landlord about an issue and either got ignored blatantly or got this repetitive excuse of "I'm working" as if that's a reason to not respond or accommodate for property issues. The prime example is the issue with the garage opener not working. I told this guy about this issue DAY ONE! I stayed for 3 months, and the issue was NEVER resolved 2) Insect infestation: -Had a heavy issue with silver fish and ants. Another tenant has a post with this complaint; it clearly wasn't addressed by the landlord. 3) Misleading Advertisement by the landlord -Bad soundproofing to the duplex neighbor area. Was told that this unit had a 1-car garage, but it can really only fit a small car, nothing bigger than a Prius, in theory. This place is VERY cheaply furnished and has an inept landlord to monitor it.

Travelers beware

Put my dates in till the end of August, August 30th but on the 16th he let me know that he booked someone to move in the 18th so I needed to move out... also the place is surrounded by cockroaches and silver fish. Would not recommend

Great space

Perfect place for travelers that need a little extra room, there is a nice patio and yard in the back the ability to pack a car or small suv in the garage. I will say the area is not amazing as I wouldn't walk around the neighborhood so keep that in mind but we never had any issues. It's close to many of the hospitals and the highway. Definitely recommend for the price, cleanliness, and size!
