Comfortable York Home

A very comfortable York neighborhood home. Modernized with charm, conveniences, and character. We had the opportunity to stay here while remodeling and came away with many thoughts and ideas to incorporate into our own home. Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Bellingham and many craft breweries, bars, and restaurants. Only 2 blocks from Nelson's Market, an iconic neighborhood spot featuring Marlins Cafe, beer on tap, and any grocery goods you need - it is a locals favorite. Would recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a short term options. Enjoy sitting on the front porch, waving to the neighbors, and relaxing in comfort.

Great Mid Term Rental

We had the opportunity to spend nearly 6 months at this York District house in 2023. We loved it so much that we came back a 2nd time. The home is well appointed with creative architectural features and finishes. The open kitchen/dining and living rooms are spacious, well stocked and comfortable. The covered front porch was wonderful as was the side deck. Its a pleasure to cook in the fully stocked kitchen with great south facing light. The upstairs main bedroom also has great south light so it's an enjoyable place to lounge. The neighborhood is truly walkable - a short walk up to the local landmark Nelsons market and restaurant which is a neighborhood gathering spot with super good food. Its literally a 10 minute walk to the ceter of downtown which is full of breweries, restaurants, theater, shops and the Saturday market. Dayna and Thomas were so easy and accomodating to our needs that we came back for a 2nd time and have become friends. Easy off street parking in the alley and plenty of street parking out front. Very comfortable and an easy place to call home while in Bellingham - whether it is for a house renovation as we were or visiting while you shop for a new home. There is plenty of private space to work remote which was a very nice addition for us. Highly recomend if you are looking for a short term furnished rental.

Lovely home, great neighborhood!

We had a really good experience staying at the Iron St house for three months while our house was getting renovated. Dayna was super easy going and great to work with. it was plentiful street parking and the parking space in the back alley was awesome. The house has been remodeled very nicely, and it was set up so we had pretty much everything we needed. The neighborhood is super walkable. The house is right down the road from Nelsons market, which is a great place for breakfast or to meet up with friends. Its very close to downtown Bellingham, so you can walk to restaurants, bars, breweries, or stores. Its a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We would definitely stay there again or recommended to friends!
