The house has a large yard with a wood privacy fence. There are trees on the property which provide nice shade in the hot summer. The house was built in 1955 and has cute, kitsch details. Most of the windows have storm windows. The front door is new and there is a heavy, gated-style storm door in the front and back. There is a Ring camera with motion sensor lighting on the garage.
Space
There are 3 bedrooms with one is set up as an office or sitting room. Great light in the house and the space is ideal for a couple or two single people. The house has good flow and is clean and comfortable. The hardwood floors are lovely, and there are area rugs in the bedrooms and the hallway.
Neighborhood overview
Not a busy street, near the college and the hospital, working class homes, some long-term rentals. Mostly quiet, neighbors are friendly, keep to themselves but say hello. There are a fair number of dogs in the neighborhood, but that seems to be Grand Junction in general. It feels safe. There is a hardware store blocks away and City Market is maybe 1.5 miles. Comfortable home, good location.

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the prime location, comfortable and delightful living spaces, highly responsive hosts, well cared for house, and the benefit of extra storage space in the garage for a vehicle and/or personal items (i.e., bikes and personal items).

So cute, the most furnished finder I’ve been in. Neighborhood is nice, lots and lots of dogs!

Clean, cozy and close to everything
Lauras home was the perfect place for me while I worked my contract at St. Marys. The home was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The garage and fenced in yard added security and privacy that I appreciated especially since I had my dog with me. Laura was always pleasant and quick to respond if I ever had any issues. I would highly recommend her home and would definitely rent here again. 5 stars!

Quiet, Cozy, and Spacious!
I've loved staying at this property during my travel contract in a cute and quiet neighborhood that is conveniently located to everything! It is clean and the garage parking and yard are great to have! Laura is very responsive and great with anything I have needed! The house had everything I could need and am so happy I found such an amazing place to stay during my time in Grand Junction!
