Charming Casita with Wonderful Hosts
If you appreciate historic adobe properties and want to stay somewhere with charm and character in a vibrant historic neighborhood close to downtown coupled with amazing hosts then look no more. First, all the amenities you need are here - spacious well-stocked kitchen, an incredible huge walk-in shower, very comfortable furniture & bed (so important!), a desk, good lighting, books galore, wonderful wall art, 2 outdoor spaces. There is a bakery and good restaurants that you can walk to in under 10 min. Now, if all this isn't enough, Bob & Kate are incredible hosts. They welcomed us with a fridge stocked with some goodies, provided delicious cranberry/walnut bread and a bottle of wine. We felt right at home immediately and could not believe our good fortune to have landed there! During our stay, Kate and Bob were always available and they shared their knowledge of Tucson with us and made many recommendations with regard to events and places to visit.
The perfect spot in Tucson.
I stayed at this listing for 10 months. The house is early 20th-century adobe and appointed in a local style. The owners are absolutely lovely - very responsive and knowledgeable about local events, history, anything you might want to know. The location is convenient to hospitals as well as downtown Tucson. I honestly did not want to leave.
